Even application in curves
A robot slows down for physical reasons when it navigates a sharp curve. At constant output, the adhesive bead would become too thick at that point. The solution: Our cobots use special movement commands ("MoveP" with overshoot) to maintain a constant speed at corners, or communicate in real time with the dispensing head to adjust the flow.
Variable material properties
Adhesives change their viscosity depending on the temperature in the hall or the batch. A rigid program would fail here. The solution: We rely on dosing systems (e.g., AIM) that work volumetrically or are easily adjustable to compensate for fluctuations.
Programming complex shapes
With traditional robots, tracing curved 3D contours is often a programming nightmare. The solution: thanks to the "Free Drive" function, you can simply guide the cobot arm by hand along the desired adhesive seam. The robot memorizes the path—without any complicated code.
