Welding with cobots
Consistent weld seams without programming effort
Good welders are hard to find. At the same time, quality and documentation requirements are increasing. Manual welding is also harmful to health and inefficient for series parts.
Our mobile welding cells provide an immediate solution to this problem. These compact, complete systems combine a cobot, professional welding technology, and a safety table in a single, mobile unit. Your skilled personnel will transition from "manual welders" to "robot operators," programming new parts in just a few minutes and thereby significantly increasing throughput.

Ready to weld: Our welding cells are delivered to you ready to use. Simply set them up, connect the power, and get started. No complicated installation is required—often, a pallet truck is sufficient to move the cell to another location.
Consistent quality: The cobot always guides the torch at a precisely constant distance and speed. The result is perfect seams, fewer spatters, and hardly any rework—component by component.
Safety included: You don't have to worry about occupational safety. The cells are CE-compliant and feature integrated glare protection and smoke extraction, ensuring that your employees are protected from UV radiation and fumes.
challenges
Grinding is more than just "going over it." It is a sensitive process. We have the technical solutions for typical problems:
Lack of programming expertise
Metalworkers, not IT experts, work in welding shops. There is great concern that operating a robot requires weeks of training. The solution: our cells use lead-through teaching. The welder simply guides the robot arm by hand to the start and end points of the seam. He transfers his craft directly to the robot—without having to write any lines of code.
Small batch sizes & frequent product changes
"It's not worth setting up for just 20 pieces." – A classic argument against rigid industrial robots that take hours to set up. The solution: Thanks to the intuitive operation and quick-clamping systems on the Siegmund table, the cell can be converted to a new component in just a few minutes. This allows you to automate even the smallest series (high mix/low volume) economically.
Challenging seam geometries
Welding is rarely just a straight line. Pendulum movements are often necessary to bridge gaps or weld root layers. The solution: the software contains ready-made modules for complex pendulum patterns (weaving) such as zigzag, triangle, or trapezoid. The operator simply selects the pattern and width on the tablet—the cobot executes the movement more precisely than any human hand.

Perfect interaction between all components is crucial for a stable and reproducible welding process. It is not enough to simply place a robot arm next to a welding table—communication between the power source, torch, and motion control must function seamlessly in real time.
That's why we don't offer you a hodgepodge of individual parts, but rather a professionally integrated complete system. Our welding cells follow the "best-of-breed" approach: we combine leading cobot technology with high-end welding technology and precise fixture tables to create a ready-to-use unit that guarantees you maximum process reliability.
The cobot
The integrated robot arm offers the necessary reach to cover the entire welding table. It operates with maximum repeat accuracy and is optimally protected against welding spatter by special protective covers and a robust design.
About cobotsWelding robot cell
The centerpiece is a mobile or permanently installed enclosure, often based on a high-quality Siegmund welding table. Thanks to the hole grid, you can clamp your components flexibly and quickly. The entire cell is so compact that it can even be installed in confined production areas.
welding technology
Proven industrial technology (e.g., from Fronius or EWM) is at work inside the cell. The highlight: you control these professional devices directly via the robot's simple tablet. You can call up the current, wire feed, or characteristic curves at the touch of a finger, without having to fiddle with the welding machine.
solution finding
1. Process check We check your components and batch sizes. The cell often pays for itself with as few as 10 pieces or with recurring small series.
2. Cell selection We configure the right solution—from an open "cobot welding station" to a completely enclosed cabin with extraction for maximum protection.
3. Delivery & Start-up The cell is delivered pre-assembled. Our team will train your welders. Since the system was developed specifically for welders (and not for programmers), you will usually be productive on the same day.
4. Support Since we use a standardized system, we can quickly help with any questions and deliver replacement parts without any complications.
