Robotiq Finishing Copilot is a software for finishing applications with Universal Robots. Finishing Copilot’s path generator requires only a handful of waypoints to generate complex finishing paths. For a flat surface only 4 waypoints need to be taught, for curved 6 waypoints and for a round surface 9 waypoints. Finishing Copilot generates the complete path and applies a constant force for each cycle. Unlike most cobot applications, Finishing Copilot allows programming of an external TCP. The robot understands: this is an external finishing tool.
