MiR Hook 250

The MiR Hook 250 is a fully automatic attachment module for the MiR250 robot, designed specifically for picking up and towing carts. With a pulling force capable of handling loads of up to 500 kg, it significantly optimizes internal transport processes in logistics, manufacturing, and healthcare. Thanks to identification via April-Tags, existing carts can be integrated without major modifications, making the solution particularly cost-effective and flexible.

Efficient Vehicle Handling
Using April Tag recognition, the robot automatically identifies and docks with and undocks from trolleys, eliminating the need for manual intervention in the material flow.
High payload – Up to 500 kg of pulling force
The module can move loads of up to 500 kg on a 1% incline and remains highly efficient even on a 5% incline when carrying a load of 300 kg.
Seamless integration – No need to switch vehicles
Existing carts simply need to be equipped with an April tag to be integrated into the automated system, which saves on investment costs for new transport equipment.

Description

The MiR Hook 250 significantly expands the range of applications for the MiR250 platform. The system is designed to flexibly handle carts of various sizes, with a variable gripping height ranging from 80 to 350 mm . Thanks to advanced software, the robot navigates safely around people and obstacles, while precise control enables fast pickup (approx. 48 sec.) and delivery cycles (approx. 18 sec.).

The module is designed for intensive industrial use: Its aluminum construction is rated for a service life of 20,000 operating hours or 5 years. Companies also benefit from a long operating time of over 10 hours at maximum payload, making the MiR Hook 250 the ideal solution for multi-shift operations looking to boost productivity without increasing staffing costs.
