Nord Cart Mover – MiR 250
The Nord Cart Mover for the MiR 250 is an ultra-low-profile automation solution designed exclusively for transporting the Nord Cart 300-385. With a profile height of just 25 mm above the robot platform, it offers a highly efficient transport system in an extremely compact form. This space-saving application is the ideal choice for environments where every millimeter counts, enabling optimized cart handling without taking up unnecessary space. Despite its slim design, the module reliably moves loads of up to 300 kg through the production line.
Description
The Nord Cart Mover – MiR 250 was designed for maximum precision and minimal maintenance in intralogistics. It uses a specialized mechanical locking mechanism that ensures the Nord Cart 300-385 is transported safely and securely. The system integrates seamlessly with the MiR 250’s software and safety systems, enabling rapid deployment and easy operation.
A key advantage is its maintenance-free design, with a service interval of just 100,000 cycles. Since no external infrastructure is required for the docking process, workflows can be organized with a high degree of flexibility. With a lifting time of just 6 seconds, the Cart Mover is also optimized for speed to reduce cycle times in production. Optional add-ons such as the Integrated Blue Light Kit further enhance safety when operating in the presence of people and other vehicles.
