Nord Wheel Gate 510

Together with the Quick Mover, the Wheel Gate forms a fully automated system that connects your MiR robot directly to production lines and warehouse systems. It serves as a stationary or mobile receiving unit for safely receiving or delivering objects. Thanks to the manually controllable wheels and integrated stop function, both employees and robots can move loads effortlessly and safely.

Seamless system integration
Combines with the Quick Mover to form a fully automated complete solution for object handling.
Maximum flexibility
Thanks to optimized arm distances, a wide variety of load sizes—from small to large items—can be processed reliably.
Space-optimized
Ideal for workspaces with limited space where conventional transfer stations would be too bulky.

Description

The Nord Wheel Gate 510 from Nord Modules was developed to automate the “last mile” of intralogistics. It acts as a link that connects the MiR robot to existing conveyor belts or production cells. The major advantage lies in the combination of automation and manual flexibility: While the robot autonomously navigates to the station, the Wheel Gate’s design also allows employees to easily move loads manually directly into the line.

Various designs (e.g., with inclination or different numbers of fingers) allow the module to be adapted precisely to the requirements of the respective application. For Swiss industrial companies, this offers a cost-efficient and reliable method of increasing throughput times and freeing staff from repetitive, heavy lifting tasks. The installation process is extremely simple and quick to implement.
