With the Schunk Co-act EGP-C gripper, Schunk presents an inherently safe industrial gripper that is certified and approved for collaborative operation by the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV). Safe working next to a person is made possible by the integrated current limitation and collision protection cover. The current limiter ensures that the gripping force does not exceed a predefined value. When used with cobots, the collision protection cover is designed to minimize the risk of injury.
