New Scale Robotics Multi-Tool Mount System
The NSR-MTM-3-URe Multi-Tool Mount System enables the simultaneous use of up to three NSR tools on a single Universal Robots cobot. The platform distributes power and RS485 signals from the UR tool port to all connected devices and allows them to be fully controlled in a single URCaps interface. The system thus significantly increases productivity and enables complex automation and measurement tasks without the need for multiple robots or extensive programming.
Description
The NSR-MTM-3-URe allows gripping, measuring, testing, and sorting to be efficiently combined. The system is particularly suitable for manufacturing cells with small components, where typical processes involve gripping, measuring, and depositing.
The NSR Devices software automatically recognizes the MTM system and allows you to add all connected NSR tools (e.g., NSR-PG precision grippers) with just a few clicks.
Complex process sequences are generated automatically—the user does not have to manually create nested program nodes.
The integrated Freedrive button facilitates manual positioning, while intelligent functions such as automatic center of gravity correction further simplify operation.
Up to three NSR tools can be mounted simultaneously thanks to 90-degree pin positions and the standardized ISO interface.
