The SHW connector is a new development from GRIP with an optimized locking mechanism. The connector consists of a sliding bolt that clamps the upper and lower parts together. When locking, the lower part is tightened by the locking bolt. The SHW connector is centered on the robot or tool side with an additionally mounted centering disc. The disk can be attached to the top of the robot or the bottom of the tool. All tools on the collaborative robot can be changed or replaced quickly and safely with just one movement.
