The SWS connector from GRIP is used when things need to get rough. The robust interchangeable system was specially developed for applications with high force and torque loads. Connectors in the SWS series are also a cost-effective alternative to the MGW series for static applications from GRIP. The connector consists of a sliding bolt that clamps the top and bottom pieces together, as is also known from other series such as the SHW series. When locking, the lower part is tightened by the locking bolt. The SHW connector is centered on the robot or tool side with an additionally mounted centering disc. The disk can be attached to the top of the robot or the bottom of the tool. All tools on the collaborative robot can be changed or replaced quickly and safely with just one movement.
