The SWS connector from GRIP is used when the going gets rough. The robust changing system was developed especially for applications with high force and moment loads. Connectors of the SWS series are also at the same time a favorable alternative to the MGW series for static applications from GRIP. The connector consists of a push latch that clamps the upper and lower pieces together as known from other series such as the SHW series. When locking, the lower piece is tightened by the locking bolt. With an additionally mounted centering disk, the SHW connector is centered on the robot or tool side. The disk can be attached to the top of the robot or to the bottom of the mold. In this way, all tools on the collaborative robot can be changed or exchanged quickly and safely in just one step.
