GRIP Base Connector
The GRIP Base Connector series provides a fast and secure mechanical connection between cobots and robot bases. The SHW160 and SWS200 models are two variants that cover different load ranges and are suitable for flexible production environments. Both systems allow tool-free removal and relocation of a cobot within seconds – ideal for manufacturing environments where mobility, short setup times, and repeatable positioning are crucial.
The SHW160 is designed for lightweight cobots and lower payloads, while the SWS200 allows for higher loads and offers additional reserves for more demanding applications.
Description
The SHW160 and SWS200 base connector systems were developed to make robot cells more efficient and flexible. Thanks to the purely mechanical locking mechanism, robot arms can be securely connected and disconnected without an external power supply. Assembly is intuitive, and switching between applications or workstations takes only a few seconds.
The systems not only enable mobility, but also reproducible positioning after each change. For production lines with multiple stations or frequently changing processes, the Base Connector variants offer a significant reduction in setup times and increase the productivity of the entire system.
