AIM FD 400

The AIM Robotics FD400 is a precise, electrically powered dispensing system for 400 ml cartridges, designed for highly viscous materials in the process and automation industries. Thanks to AirLess technology, an integrated drive, and full URCap support, the FD400 enables a constant, reproducible material flow without compressed air. The system can be connected directly to the M8-8-pin port of a Universal Robot and is ready for use in just a few minutes.

Description

The AIM FD400 operates with an electric piston drive that acts directly on the cartridge, completely eliminating the typical disadvantages of pneumatic systems, such as delayed material flow or uneven pressure. AirLess technology enables precise, repeatable material application, even with very high viscosities.

The FD400 is fully integrated into Universal Robots' robot controller. The URCap software guides the user through setup, parameter selection, and the dispensing process. Features such as automatic flow control, multi-color status display, cleaning routines, and availability monitoring make the system particularly user-friendly. With IP65 protection, a robust aluminum housing, and reliable electronics, the FD400 is ideal for adhesives, sealants, lubricants, potting compounds, and other viscous media.
