AIM SD 30/55
The AIM SD 30/55 is an electric dispensing system for 30–55 cc syringes and was developed specifically for use with Universal Robots. Thanks to its completely airless drive, the system enables precise, reproducible dispensing of silicones, adhesives, and very low-viscosity materials. Integration is carried out exclusively via the robot's M8-8-pin connection, eliminating the need for external pneumatics. With the intuitive AIM-URCap software, the dosing speed can be precisely controlled and dynamically linked to the robot's movement – for a consistently uniform material volume along each path.
Description
The AIM SD 30/55 eliminates the typical problems associated with air-based dispensing, such as delayed material flow, pressure fluctuations, or inconsistent quantities. Instead, an electric motor presses directly on the syringe plunger via a piston, allowing the material flow to be controlled with precision. The URCap software supports the user in setup, cleaning, and programming—including automatic cleaning cycles to prevent material buildup in the nozzle tip.
Synchronization with the robot movement ensures that the dispensing volume remains constant throughout the entire path, regardless of speed or orientation. This makes the system suitable for demanding applications such as applying sealing compounds, bonding, dispensing silicone, or applying low-viscosity media to complex shapes and surfaces.
