The Schmalz Starter Set VEE is a modular kit for quickly configuring vacuum-based end effectors. The set allows you to build up to two complete grippers and is ideal for pick-and-place tasks as well as applications in primary and secondary packaging. With over 120 components, an integrated bayonet coupling, and pre-assembled parts, you can quickly and flexibly assemble a functional vacuum gripper.
Description
The VEE Starter Set provides a complete basis for the rapid configuration of vacuum-based grippers. The core of the system is its modular design: suction grippers, mounts, connectors, and adapters can be freely combined, allowing for a wide variety of gripper geometries. The included SPB4-30 suction cups are particularly suitable for flexible packaging such as bags or films, while additional flat or bellows suction cups can be added as options.
The gripper be connected directly to the vacuum generator via a bayonet coupling, enabling quick, tool-free replacement. The robust plastic housing and clear structure of the parts make assembly and cleaning easy. All that is required for commissioning is to connect a vacuum hose, which is available as an accessory.
The starter set is particularly useful for companies that process different packaging formats or need to adjust gripper . Whether pick & place, packaging lines, or highly dynamic applications—the VEE system offers a flexible and economical solution for varying products.
