The Weiss Robotics GRIPKIT EASY is a smart, servo-electric gripping solution for cobots that significantly simplifies the transition to collaborative handling technology. With an adjustable gripping force of up to 200 N and a total stroke of 30 mm, it offers uncompromising industrial quality for versatile pick-and-place applications. Thanks to direct mounting on the ISO 50 standard flange and power supply via the robot’s Tool I/O wrist, the system operates entirely without any disruptive external cables. This ensures quick commissioning and maximum reliability in daily operation.

Wireless integration via Tool-I/O
The connection and power supply are located directly on the cobot's wrist. This reduces the protrusion and eliminates the need for cumbersome cable management on the robot arm.

The smart electronics reliably detect picked-up parts and allow the picking status to be evaluated directly within the robot program, ensuring maximum process reliability.

Description

The Weiss Robotics GRIPKIT EASY was specifically developed as a plug-and-grip solution for straightforward, all-around use in factory automation. The complete package includes all necessary components, so the gripper can gripper be unpacked and integrated into a running application in less than 20 minutes. Thanks to its robust industrial design, the mechatronic gripping module operates completely maintenance-free and with process reliability even in demanding 24/7 environments.

Flexibility is a top priority with the GRIPKIT EASY: The gripper available in two versions. In the Basic version, control is handled simply via the digital I/O signals of the Tool I/O port, while the gripping parameters are set in advance offline using the free “GRIPKIT Configurator” tool via USB. For more advanced requirements, the FLEXGRIP option is available (and can be retrofitted at any time). Using manufacturer-specific plug-ins, it enables cyclic data exchange and convenient parameterization directly via the robot’s control panel.

With a maximum workpiece weight of up to 4.3 kg using form-fit gripping, the GRIPKIT EASY is ideal for machine loading, assembly tasks, or logistics applications in industries such as metalworking, electronics manufacturing, and the packaging industry.
