SMC RHMHF
The SMC RMHF is a high-performancegripper an extra-long stroke, specifically designed for handling workpieces of varying sizes. With a stroke of 64 mm and a gripping force of 90 N, it offers maximum flexibility combined with a compact design—the housing height has been reduced by approximately 35% compared to standard models. Thanks to its certification for Universal Robots and integrated valve technology, it is a highly efficient plug-and-play solution for versatile pick-and-place tasks.
Description
The SMC RMHF series bridges the gap between compact standard grippers and large-reach lifting systems. By integrating the solenoid valve directly into the gripper housing, there is no need for external components, which not only reduces weight but also cuts air consumption by up to 80%.
The RMHF really comes into its own, especially in production lines with high variability. When combined with the optional position sensor, the gripper can gripper only grasp workpieces but also measure them or sort them at the same time. The repeatability of 0.1 mm in position measurement ensures reliable process operations. Like the entire series, the long-stroke variant is designed for simple single-cable installation and, thanks to software support for Universal Robots, can be put into productive use in no time.
