New Scale Robotics Precision Gripper
The NSR-PG precision gripper/caliper combines high-precision part handling with accurate measurement in a single tool. Thanks to its compact design, low weight, and use of the UR e-Series high-speed interface, the system is ideal for handling, measuring, and quality inspection of small components. The gripper detect absolute finger positions with a resolution of 2.5 µm, enabling automated inspection and measurement processes directly on the UR cobot.
Description
The NSR-PG is ideal for applications involving small, delicate, or precisely measured parts. The fingertips can be easily changed or replaced with custom variants.
The included URCaps software gripper recognizes the gripper and allows you to set gripping force, speed, target positions, and measurement sequences with just a few clicks.
The software independently generates the necessary movement and measurement steps—ideal for flexible manufacturing, sorting tasks, probe replacement, or automated SPC data acquisition.
Thanks to RS-485 high-speed communication, up to three NSR tools can be operated in parallel on a robot, controlled via a single interface on the teach pendant.
