OnRobot VG10 Electric Vacuum Gripper
The OnRobot VG10 is a powerful electric vacuum gripper with two independently controllable vacuum channels. The integrated BLDC vacuum pump does not require external compressed air, making installation easy and ensuring high energy efficiency. With its four manually adjustable arms and up to 16 suction cups, the VG10 offers great flexibility for pick-and-place, logistics, packaging, CNC assembly, and many other automation tasks.
Description
The VG10 offers a high degree of adaptability thanks to its adjustable arms and modular suction cup positioning. The gripper arms can be adjusted to the desired angle by hand; the required holding torque of 6 Nm ensures that they remain stable even at maximum payload. The suction cups can be easily exchanged or replaced with special variants, for example for foil, thin paper, or plastic bags.
The two separate vacuum channels enable multiple workpieces to be handled simultaneously or in different sequences. The integrated filter unit (50 µm) is replaceable and reliably protects the vacuum pump from contamination.
The VG10 is compatible with URCaps and with other robot systems via I/O or fieldbus. Typical applications include cardboard handling (coated), plastics, metal, glass, and flat workpieces. It is explicitly not recommended for use with untreated, coarse cardboard due to the high throughput.
