OnRobot VGC10 vacuum gripper

The OnRobot VGC10 is a compact, adaptable vacuum gripper for applications with limited space. Despite its small size, it offers a high payload and can be flexibly configured for different workpieces. Since the gripper is gripper electrically powered, no external compressed air is required—ideal for mobile installations or workstations without pneumatics.

Description

The VGC10 offers maximum flexibility: up to seven suction cups can be freely positioned, and customer-specific adapter plates or remote vacuum connections can also be implemented. The integrated filter unit (50 µm) is easy to replace and reliably protects the pump from dust and dirt.

The two independent vacuum channels enable redundant gripping, parallel workpiece pickup, or safe handling of complex parts. An optional extension pipe makes it easier to reach tight spaces.

The system is compatible with URCaps and other robots via standardized I/O interfaces. Typical applications range from cardboard handling (coated) to plastics, metal, and glass. For highly porous materials (e.g., untreated cardboard), the restrictions described in the datasheet apply.
