Description

The SMC RMHS3 series was designed to make the handling of round or irregularly shaped parts as easy and safe as possible. The system integrates all necessary components—such as a solenoid valve, throttle check valve, and auto-switches—directly into a compact unit mounted on the robot flange. This not only saves space but also minimizes interference with gripper.

A key advantage is the flexibility when changing tools: Users can choose between different changer types (clamp, one-push, or auto-type) to gripper adapt the gripper to new tasks. With an internal gripping force of up to 130 N, the RMHS3 holds workpieces securely in place even during dynamic movements. Its robust construction and high repeatability make it the ideal partner for assembly tasks and machine loading applications where precision is paramount.
